We are currently seeking a
Project Director , reporting directly to the Managing Director to join our T.EN Operating Center team based in Houston, Texas USA.
About the Job
As a leader in energy transition, we engage our clients at early stages of EPC project development. As
Project Director , you will lead all phases of program planning and execution of multi-discipline engineering activities for large ethylene, LNG, renewables, and/or energy transition projects. You will represent the business in discussions with clients and technology suppliers throughout all phases of project development, ensuring a track record of delivering large capital projects on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
Development of proposals ensuring ability to execute against contractual technical and schedule requirements.
Overall EPC project delivery for large ($1B+) projects primarily in the North American market.
Provide primary interface to the client and resolve contract or performance issues, including capturing project scope changes.
Direct the project organization post job award and prioritize project activities while monitoring personnel performance.
Manage collaboration agreements and partnerships with relevant parties, clients, partners, vendors, subcontractors, and construction contractors.
Implement effective risk management with links to lessons learned.
Direct periodic reviews of project schedule and financial performance and take corrective action.
Provide timely reports on the project to senior management while ensuring compliance with company safety, quality, and technical standards.
Provide guidance and mentorship as needed to lower levels of project management.
Select and develop profitable project opportunities in the assigned region.
About You
We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
Minimum twenty (20) years applicable industry experience such as in ethylene, LNG, renewables, and/or energy transition projects.
Engineering degree preferred.
Ability to lead large diverse teams.
Multi-center execution/workshare experience required.
Knowledgeable in both prime contract and subcontract management.
Minimum of five (5) years direct field experience.
Must be willing to travel and relocate to project sites.
