About the Job

The AWP Manager is responsible for execution, development of the following:

  • Develop AWP procedures specific for work process for Technip Energies.
  • Explain in detail AWP process and work flows for project execution across all disciplines from FEED to project completion.
  • Ability to present the AWP process specific details necessary for project execution.
  • Skilled in organizing AWP packages for project execution
  • Compiling information for AWP packages
  • Detailed in organizing the communication process required for AWP work processes
  • Ability to interpret where AWP process will have impacts and the mitigation required as to not impact project schedule.
  • Responsible for AWP manpower requirements for project loading and execution for budget and schedule.
  • Ability to instruct and train AWP coordinators for mobilization to site.
  • Ability to interpret corporate numbering schemes required for AWP packaging.
  • Understand and ability to communicate the workflow and timeline for the following and the relationship to each other:

  • AWP ( Advanced Work Package)
  • CWA (Construction Work Area)
  • CWP (Construction Work Package)
  • EWP ( Engineering Work Package)
  • PWP ( Procurement Work Package)
  • IWP (Installation Work Package)
  • SWP (Subcontractor Work Package)
  • SUP ( Start-Up Work Package)

  • Compiles AWP engineering data according to AWP package requirements.
  • Work with multiple disciples to gather the required information to satisfy contract requirements

Duties include the generation and updating of procedures involving AWP Procedures.

  • Responsibilities include the tracking of all AWP’s over of the various Subprojects and consequently the Project.
  • Audits the content of the AWP packages and ensure their completeness during the various phases of the project as per contract.
  • Responsible to ensure that all AWP documentation is recorded, and consolidated for completion per the project contractual requirement.
  • Understand how to centralize and maintain AWP records of the Project documentation to be handed over to the Client.
  • Review and ensure that AWP Procedures are aligned with the contractual handover requirements
  • Ensure that AWP information in EASYPLANT Database is well prepared and validated for Construction, Quality, Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning, start-up, etc.
  • Coordinates with the Project Quality Manager to ensure that AWP documentation complies with the Field Quality Control plan and the contractual requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy of AWP progress information provided to the Project Management, Subcontractors and Clients
  • Prepares and issues the required progress reports on a consistent basis

About You

Qualifications

  • Familiar with engineering drawings
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft applications
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is required, to be able to:
  • Basic sheet manipulation
  • Hyperlinks
  • Advanced formula writing
  • Comparison of excel files
  • Pivot tables and graphs
  • Basic knowledge and experience with P6

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Document management systems
  • Smart Plant Materials (SMat)
  • Smart Plant 3D, Navisworks (or similar)
  • Constraint Management
  • 4D Animation

Experience and Education:

  • Must have minimum 7 to 12yrs industrial construction
  • Engineering degree is preferred
  • Must have detailed organization skills and data base experience
  • Basic Office Skills
