The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time faculty person at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor to serve as Section Chief of the Division of Clinical Genetics, one of the largest and oldest clinical programs in Reproductive Genetics in the country.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Consultation with and oversight of genetic counselors.
Genetic medical care for preconception, pregnant, and adult individuals.
Participation in the care of patients with high-risk pregnancies (for candidates with joint MFM/Genetics certification).
Coverage of Labor and Delivery.
Performance and interpretation of ultrasounds.
We also collaborate with Lurie Children’s Hospital in the Chicago Institute for Fetal Health, a joint pediatric surgery-MFM program devoted to fetal therapy.
