The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time faculty person at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor to serve as Section Chief of the Division of Clinical Genetics, one of the largest and oldest clinical programs in Reproductive Genetics in the country. Clinical responsibilities include both consultation with and oversight of genetic counselors and genetic medical care for preconception, pregnant and adult individuals. Candidates with joint MFM/Genetics certification would also participate in the care of patients with high-risk pregnancies, cover Labor and Delivery, and perform and interpret ultrasounds.We also collaborate with Lurie Children’s Hospital in the Chicago Institute for Fetal Health, a joint pediatric surgery-MFM program devoted to fetal therapy.
