Job DescriptionThe Vertex Co-op Program offers students the opportunity to learn about the pharmaceutical industry from a hands-on perspective. You will be working closely with and learning from some of the brightest people in the industry. When you join our co-op program you should not be surprised to see that our environment is one that is innovative and team oriented, where collaboration is not just a word, and "we are relentless" is in everything we do. Students can expect to be challenged by their project plan, connect with other co-ops, and feel valued by the Vertex community. Not only will co-ops learn about their day-to-day tasks through their specific work assignments, but they will interact and have exposure to our organizational leaders and their teams.Job Summary :The Project Management and Strategy Operations (PMSO) organization supports the Commercial Manufacturing and Supply Chain (CMSC) departments. This group is responsible for managing projects related to commercial products and processes.Key Responsibilities :This position will be complimentary to a project coordinator and will take on a project to support process optimization efforts. Duties will include defining a problem, gathering customer requirements, measuring and analyzing processes, and implementing improvement projects.Qualifications :Entering Senior Year of Undergraduate School or pursuing a Master’s degree or MBADegree in a Science and/or Business-related fieldInterests in pursuing a career in project managementExperience with MS Office applications (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, OneNote, Project, Visio, etc)Planning and organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsPrior internship experience a plusLegally authorized to work in the United StatesPermanent legal authorization to work in the United StatesCandidate must be enrolled in an advanced degree program if graduating before May 2025Candidate must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week from January - June 2025Program Dates:
