Must be open to up to 50% travel (current, but subject to change based on customer requirements)The BTS Program and Project Systems Architect role will lead innovation and digital transformation initiatives for SAP’s largest and most important customers. The responsibilities of this role include creating strategic and tactical roadmaps charting the deployment of digital solutions SAP offers while developing compelling business cases to help guide our customer’s strategic decision-making activities.The BTS Program and Project Systems Architect will provide comprehensive advice to our customers on long- and short-term opportunities for their key strategic imperatives and recommend innovations that anticipate the future direction of both business and IT stakeholders in the Capital & Expense Projects planning and execution areas.Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the SAP solution suite for program and project management – core project systems, CPM, EPPM, PMMO, and the competitive landscape.SME level knowledge of EPPM data model and processes in Portfolio Management, Project Management, cprojects, integration to SAP PS.Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud for projects, collaborative project management is a definite plus.Facilitate collaborative architecture discussions with our customers IT and business executives.Work effectively across multiple functions and teams to define clear requirements to achieve business outcomes.Analyze key business and IT requirements in the Program and Project Management area (with particular focus on complex, long-term contracts, i.e., in the A&D, Federal and State and Local Government environment).Develop strategic roadmaps for Program and Project Management area to ensure a customer’s CAPEX and OPEX processes support their sustainability goals and values.Identify improvement potentials within the Program and Project Management areas – initiating, budgeting, monitoring and settlement efficiency and reporting transparency.Influence transition states toward joint business outcomes building on SAP solution value.What you bring:Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation - able to lead customer engagements at an executive level.Proven excellent knowledge in Program and Project Management processes and deep implementation knowledge in SAP ECC, S/4HANA and cloud solutions for Project Systems (ideally in A&D and Public Sector).Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to estimate the financial impact of various solution architecture alternatives.5+ years of SAP solution experience, 5+ years management consulting experience.10+ years of solution and/or architecture (business & IT) experience.MBA preferred.Meet the team:Business Transformation Services (BTS) is the strategic advisory arm of SAP’s Service & Support organization. The targeted combined range for this position is 150400 - 335900 USD.
