Job Summary:DDC IT Services is seeking a talented Web Applications Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing website design and creation. The ideal candidate should have a passion for developing high-quality, user-friendly websites that meet clients' needs and requirements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, design, evaluate, develop, test, edit, maintain, and document the look and flow of websites.
Develop and maintain web applications using Adobe ColdFusion and other web technologies.
Create and maintain SQL Server databases to support web applications.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimization.
Collaborate with the team to ensure security requirements are satisfied.
Monitor website performance and perform analysis to determine cause of any reported issues.
1 year of experience with Adobe ColdFusion development.
Provide Program Manager with web application metrics.
Correspond with clients to understand their requirements, and provide technical application support.
Design or supervise the design of digitized images, banners, bullets, charts, image maps, and other graphics to enhance the appearance of the site.
Apply knowledge of programming techniques and computer internet systems.
Apply and sustain Section 508 Compliance using Web 2.0 standards.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience working in a DevOps environment.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery.
Experience with CSS frameworks, such as Bootstrap.
Experience with SQL Server, or other RDBMS.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud tools, such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks.
Good understanding of Windows settings, and Internet Information Services (IIS).
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.
Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):
CompTIA Security+ certification, or IAM Level I, or IAT Level II equivalent certification.
1 year of experience with Adobe ColdFusion development.
4-5 years of experience in web application development.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
