Torch Technologies is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join a team providing information systems support for the AFNWC/LRSO Lead Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and Cybersecurity Office.Responsibilities:Provide system level auditing to include ACAS scans, NESSUS scans, user account management, evaluation of system vulnerabilities.Media Control management to include documentation and accountability of all media.Monitor, assist and educate the Assured File transfers (AFTs) program.Management of ATO accreditation packages to include review, prepare, and update.Assist with the development of Body of Evidence (BOE).Development and maintenance of System Security Plans (SSPs).Knowledge of and follow the applicable Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG).Coordinate changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware updating the LRSO database for any changes within the environment.Perform self-inspections, identifying vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures.Job Requirements:Required Qualifications:Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.A two-year Computer Science Degree or computer related military experience is required.2 years of experience in developing and implementing Intrusion Detection Systems and firewalls is also required.Required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with access to SCI and SAPs within 6-9 months. Interim TS clearance upon hire is acceptable.Certification: Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DOD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technician Level 2 (i.e., Security + CE certification), CASP or CAP. CISSP desirable.An in-depth knowledge of information systems (IS) supporting special access program (SAP) networks.Knowledge of required Collateral, SAP and sensitive compartmented information (SCI) security procedures.Knowledgeable and experienced working with LINUX Operating System and Windows OS.Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.Knowledge and experience executing Risk Management Framework (RMF) principles and organizational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity and availability, authentication, non-repudiation); knowledge and experience executing systems diagnostic tools (i.e., STIG, SCAP, ACAS, and JSIG requirements) and fault identification techniques; vulnerability scanning; knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies; knowledge of basic system administration and operating system hardening techniques; knowledge of DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides.Preferred Qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science a plus, but not required for the job.At least 3 years' of relevant experience is preferred.Job Type:
