The scope of initiatives will span strategic, operational and “run the business”, inclusive of risk-adjacent activities such as change execution governance, issues management, quality assurance and audit and exam management. This role will partner closely with the LOB Strategic Execution and Business Management Leads and the Wholesale Teammate Enablement Lead.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Specific activities may change from time to time.Specific activities will include: leading a holistic, consistent portfolio intake process across Wholesale, inclusive of key cross-functional stakeholders, to ensure prioritization and allocation of resources in alignment with enterprise objectives and Wholesale’s strategic and operating plansLeading a team of consultants who partner with cross-functional teams to plan, execute and deliver against the defined portfolio of work. Drive team toward increasing efficiency, connectivity and value creationCreating comprehensive, insightful reporting to track initiative execution including roadmap, status, risks and outcomes. Develop operating cadences, routines and rhythms to socialize progress, risks and roadblocks with key stakeholdersDeveloping and demonstrating industry knowledge and trends including the use of key optimization levers such as use of third parties, automation, target operating models, process optimization, and best practicesCoordinating with technology and operations partners to ensure investments and dependencies appropriately consider key stakeholder feedbackPartnering with risk, technology, GCO and other enterprise functions to collectively deliver against Risk Program expectations as strategic priorities are executed and issues are remediated in adherence with Truist risk standards and change management policiesDeveloping a Wholesale-wide approach to monitor, prioritize and ensure successful remediation of all documented findings and/or issuesRepresenting Wholesale, as needed, on enterprise-wide strategic projects within Truist Enterprise Change & Transformation operating model (i.e., governance, cadences and processes); provide leadership as a subject matter expert to serve as a single point of contact for WholesaleDeveloping, guiding, and mentoring less tenured teammates; ensuring each LOB leader has value-added execution supportServing as a trusted advisor and extension of Wholesale leadership by providing vision, direction, and expertise to identify, prioritize and execute initiatives and key deliverablesRequired Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.15+ years overall experience and background in strategic execution, change management, risk or operationsPrior experience and/or understanding of Wholesale Banking fundamentals, including product and service capabilities, organizational structure and alignment, and internal process/systems/dataStrong critical thinking skills combined with strategic business focusAbility to drive large scale connectivity and value generation across teams Demonstrated ability to identify and develop strategic opportunities into solutionsExemplary risk management leadership to ensure a strong risk management culture and to make complex risk-return decisionsProven ability to cultivate strong relationships and execute growth initiatives across lines of business including commercial banking, commercial real estate, corporate & investment banking, and wealth managementDemonstrated experience fostering strong partnership, promoting teamwork, and building an inclusive cultureAbility to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and managementSense of urgency and ability to multi-task and manage competing projects in a deadline-driven environmentExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsPassion for results and personal accountability for achievementAbility to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environmentGeneral Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation:
