Interior Designer

We're looking for a talented, enthusiastic new team member to join our fast paced environment as a junior interior designer with opportunity to grow in your position. We're a boutique high end, full service residential interior design firm, working on new construction, remodels, furnishings and accessorizing. We emphasize the importance of listening to our client to give them their custom that fits their taste and lifestyle.The ideal candidate is self-motivated and eager to learn. They will assist senior designers in day to day tasks, and will have the opportunity to learn through participation in client meetings and drawing and documenting of designs. Salary will depend on experience, and later, with productivity in the company. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about design and will enjoy working as a team.ResponsibilitiesCreate attractive designs and layouts for various projectsMeet with client in order to understand the client's objectives and desiresCommunicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needsPrepare presentations for clientsCreate quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followedCarry out orders and designsQualificationsBachelor's degree, proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suiteGood Presentation, organization and Communication SkillsAbility to work well with a teamFast Learner and Self MotivatedPassion for DesignThese skills are a plus: Google Sketch Up, Revit, Photoshop, Quickbooks
