KI is hiring an Interior Designer to join our Florida sales team. This position is remote but will be based out of the Orlando area.

In this position, you will work closely with our Sales Specialists, dealers and customers to create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces while adhering to relevant blueprint, building code, and inspection requirements. You will provide direct support in CAD/CET, space planning, quoting, finish recommendations and project qualification. At times, you may participate in customer presentations and will effectively be persuasive in communicating design ideas. Additionally, a portion of your time may be spent providing pre-sales and/or post-sales support including customer experience functions.

Additional responsibilities include:

Create attractive designs and layouts for various projectsMeet with client in order to understand the client's objectives and desiresCommunicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needsPrepare presentations for clientsCreate quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followedMaintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant

The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Design, Interior Design or a related field. Some previous commercial furniture design experience desired. Strong AutoCAD proficiency and rendering skills required, CET desired, along with strong visual and spatial awareness.

The targeted salary range for this position is between $55,000 and $75,000 but could differentiate from this scale based on the candidate's skillset, years of experience, education and geographic location.
