We are seeking a flexible Executive General Manager for an established Fine Dining Restaurant in Houston's River Oaks district. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the establishment's operations. Your role will involve ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining a high-quality atmosphere, managing staff, handling finances, and implementing effective marketing strategies. You will be accountable for the financial and operational performance of the restaurant. As a GM, you will build, coach, manage, and develop teams from a staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training standpoint. You will also ensure that the restaurant follows all local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations. Recruit, hire, and oversee the training of staff members. Create schedules for management. Handle employee issues and evaluations. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff. Ensure exceptional customer experiences by setting high service standards. Interact with customers, addressing concerns, and soliciting feedback to improve operations. Prepare and manage budgets, including revenue forecasting and expense control. Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement cost-saving measures.

Requirements: 3-5 years of experience as a General Manager or Manager of a fine dining restaurant. Strong leadership skills. Proven track record in managing financial operations, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management. A thorough understanding of the beverage industry and passion for hospitality. Solid understanding of inventory management and ordering processes. Ensuring excellent hospitality and customer service. Creating a positive work environment for team members. Implementing Human Resource decisions. Ensuring guest satisfaction. Compiling work schedules. Performing P&L analysis. Controlling inventory. Ensuring products are consistent with company quality standards. Ensuring food and beverage quality. Responsible for marketing direction and creative promotions and community events. Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, training, motivation, evaluation, and termination of team members. Upholding and exemplifying all company and county policies. Responsible for all resolutions for customers and employees. Upkeep and attention to care of equipment and arrangements for repairs, contracts, and other services. Scheduling effectively to responsibly provide customer service and team support and target labour goals. Ability to work in a high-volume environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient in using point-of-sale systems, inventory systems, and other relevant software. This position requires a minimum 3-5 years of management experience in the retail, restaurant, grocery, or other service industry with responsibility for financial results and previous management proficiency in high volume retail with P&L accountability.
