We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team and become part of the Barometer family as we grow in multiple locations.
Job Description:
As the General Manager of Barometer Waterfront Grill, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, financial performance, customer service, and ensuring a high standard of food and beverage quality. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation as a top dining destination and driving the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
Implement and maintain high standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize profitability.
Staff Management:
Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of staff, including chefs, servers, and support staff.
Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee development.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
Customer Service:
Ensure an exceptional guest experience by addressing customer concerns and feedback promptly.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Oversee reservations, special events, and VIP services to exceed guest expectations.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Implement cost-saving measures and revenue-generating initiatives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in a high-volume restaurant exceeding $5 million
Strong understanding of restaurant operations, financial management, and staff management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in restaurant management software and Google.
Passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
