OVERVIEWThis position is based in our San Francisco office.We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Sales team. In this position you will play an integral role in our Sales motion by driving outbound sales campaigns.We are looking for an energetic and hardworking individual who is excited to continue their career in software sales. As part of your role you will work closely with the Account Executive team supporting a specific territory and industry vertical. You will have the unique opportunity to drive our outbound sales motion within Mid Market and Enterprise accounts.To be successful in this role you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to create highly customized outbound messaging, be passionate about doing deep research on companies, consider yourself to be a self-starter and curious about Fintech and payments.ABOUT MODERN TREASURYModern Treasury is the operating system for money movement. Our end-to-end platform moves enterprises forward with faster payments, efficient workflows, full data visibility, and seamless bank integrations.REQUIREMENTS1 - 2 years of experience as a BDR or other outbound sales roleA track record of driving consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievementExperience working with Salesforce or other CRM platformsSuperior verbal and written communication, presentation and relationship management skillsAbility to create highly customized outbound messaging clearly communicating Modern Treasury’s platform to both Technical audience and Finance teamsBA or BS requiredWEEK BY WEEKDuring your first week you will:Onboard with our teamDevelop an understanding of our customers and the problems we solveReview supporting collateral for use in our sales cycleDevelop an understanding of our brand positioning, sales process and customer engagementFamiliarize yourself with our infrastructure and toolingDuring your first six weeks you will:Join prospect and customer conversations to better understand our value proposition, buyer personas and product-market fitBegin to take ownership of the growth of a specific territory while working closely with an Account ExecutiveCreate strategies to feed sales qualified leads to your teamDuring your first six months you will:Independently prioritize, manage and develop your outbound opportunity pipelineAchieve or exceed your monthly outbound sales qualified lead quotaCommunicate customer needs and requirements to our Product, Growth and Sales teams to inform our product roadmap and competitive positioning
