The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for leading the global supply chain functions under the guidance of the VP of Operations. They will be responsible for defining and executing strategic initiatives in alignment with Coloplast's overall strategies to foster ongoing growth. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services. This position will partner with global teams and cross-functional areas to support the supply chain strategy and execution.Major Areas of Accountability:

Leadership:

Lead global supply chain function to ensure stakeholder management and engagement with cross-functional global teams. Liaise directly with global senior leadership to communicate supply chain strategy, status, and forecasts. Work directly with functional leadership to ensure continuity of supply and continuous improvement. Manage supplier relationships and ensure standards are met. Lead Supply Chain continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodology. Partner cross-functionally on new product introduction activities; establish and lead cross-functional teams in supply chain and inventory activities. Develop and set strategic direction for global supply chain organization including strategic sourcing, procurement, inventory management, production planning, and international warehouse management including shipping and receiving.Execution:

Lead and manage global supply chain team by monitoring and maintaining department goals and individual objectives, including monitoring Key Performance Indicators for the Supply Chain team. Lead the strategy and implementation of S&OP process. Own operational excellence and capability development for global Interventional Urology supply chain. Lead global field inventory management to ensure inventory policies, programs, and procedures are in place. Oversee inventory levels at various field locations, ensuring optimal stock levels and timely replenishment. Work closely with field teams to understand inventory needs and address any issues promptly. Ensure all inventory practices comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. Oversee and manage the inventory of capital equipment at multiple field locations, ensuring timely asset tracking. Lead all forecasting activities associated within our Operations team including monthly S&OP cycle to produce the demand plan that drives product availability from our global operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales teams. Develop, maintain, communicate, and distribute all forecast related information used in the S&OP process and lead monthly S&OP meetings. Develop and execute demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function. Manage the key metrics/forecast accuracy to attain the highest level of performance for our global business.Strategic Initiatives:

Drive strategic initiatives to improve forecast accuracy and bias, to drive cost savings, and to prevent lost sales & profits through ongoing analysis and evaluation of actual performance to plan. Lead strategies within the supply base by commodity, category, and/or product line. Conduct necessary spend analysis and market surveys, and work towards lowering the cost of components through process improvements, procurement, and elimination of waste. Lead category and supply risk management strategies in a disciplined, well-thought process. Responsible for the ongoing standardization of the launch and planning process in the US. Lead procurement and promote early supplier involvement to deliver sustainable and cost-effective solutions. Drive and lead the execution of the global supply chain management system across the IU organization. Identify and lead more robust, cost-effective & value-added processes. Regularly review and maintain corporate and local procedures/instructions to assure ongoing compliance as needed.Performance Management:

Perform accurate evaluation of past performance data to forecast needs and production scheduling along with the development of strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
