We are now looking for a dynamic individual to join our North America Commercial team as Senior Account Manager.
Your Focus:As a Sr. Account Manager, you will manage a number of Regional accounts. The role will be part of the Nourish Sales team to drive one of our category sales, with the goal to ensure growth and business wins. You will effectively collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Logistics, and Supply teams.
How You Will Contribute:Achieve profitable sales growth targets by winning new business and maintaining current sales accounts.Manage quotes and pricing negotiations, optimize order patterns, and provide accurate sales forecasts.Manage the project pipeline and all information related to the projects and opportunities.Build and manage relationships with customers/accounts, organize customer visits/workshops, and keep customers up to date on project progress.Initiate innovation and proactive activities related to product promotion to respective accounts, referring to market dynamics and the company's capabilities.Accountable for all communications between the customer and internal stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Technical/R&D, and Supply Chain) on order delivery timelines, specifications, and all matters related to legal and quality.Take ownership in driving sales projects across Commercial Support, Technical, and Marketing support teams to ensure sales and business goals are delivered.Participate in sales or industry events and exhibitions.Manage internal systems for pipeline/forecast/pricing, etc.Share necessary business information with other functions appropriately and timely.
Job Requirements:What you will need to be successful:Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Food Science, Food & Nutrition, Food Technology, or any other relevant industry.At least 6-8 years of experience in B2B sales, including Food Ingredients and Food Manufacturing in the Flavors industry. Flavors sales experience is strongly preferred.Experience in the flavors industry and ideally well-connected in the industry.Proven track record in account development, creating and supporting delivery of strategies to meet business objectives.Comfortable working in a B2B environment with a positive, self-driven, or action-oriented attitude.Ability to interact across levels in customer organizations, including Owners or Senior Management teams.Strong and effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and Salesforce.Good presentation skills for sales or brand concept delivery to senior stakeholders.Ability to influence and a strong negotiator.High drive and self-motivated, positive mindset, and a great team player.
