Job Summary
Mid-Level Practitioner License (PA or NP) is required. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care Provider to join our healthcare team. As a full or part-time Wound Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with wounds, ensuring their comfort and promoting healing. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and contribute to their overall well-being.
Duties: Perform comprehensive assessments of patients with wounds, including venipuncture and diagnostic evaluations Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on assessment findings Provide wound care treatments, including dressing changes, debridement, and other procedures at patient's bedside Monitor and evaluate the progress of wound healing Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes Round in long term care facilities, assisted living communities, in office and occasionally home visits.
Job Qualifications Must hold an active Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License in Washington and or Idaho Experience of 1-3 years as a provider is preferred but will train the right new graduate Salary is dependent on experience
Strong knowledge and experience in wound care management preferred but not required. Ability to triage patients effectively in emergency situations Strong communication skills Experience in post-acute care settings (Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing) recommended but not required Driving is required, dependable vehicle and a valid driver's license is a must. Mileage is reimbursed.
