Job Summary As our program continues to grow, we are seeking to add a full-time Admission Director to join our staff. The Admission Director should have 2-5 years of admissions experience in a K-12 school or college-level setting. The position requires overseeing all aspects of admissions, which includes recruitment, marketing, communications, retention, and financial aid, and will direct the admission process from inquiry through enrollment. The Director will lead a collaborative effort to develop and implement both short-term and long-term recruitment strategies to ensure Evergreen Christian School attracts qualified applicants and meets enrollment objectives. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in independent school admissions, marketing, and/or sales preferred. Energetic and enthusiastic with a customer service and marketing orientation. Creative and innovative thinker able to develop strategies for recruitment and retention. Accessible, approachable, possessing a good sense of humor. Self-motivated and demonstrates initiative. Problem-solver, organized, efficient, and flexible. Interfaces well with the public, building team relationships with outside constituents. Effective communicator with strong writing and verbal skills. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Affirms Evergreen’s Statement of Faith, Foundational Statements, and Guiding Principles. Actively involved in a local church, including attendance at weekly services. Exemplifies Christ in attitude, speech, and actions towards others. Able to articulate the Christian worldview and articulate a Christian philosophy of education. RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES Serve as a member of the Academic Leadership Team, meeting regularly with school leadership to provide support and input regarding the overall school program. Represent Evergreen Christian as the face of the institution to the school, broader community, and prospective families. Maintain clear communication of and strong advocacy for the school vision and mission. Manage Admission, Communications, and Marketing. Advise school leadership regarding strategic planning, retention, program strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities. Engage and inform prospective parents and students about the benefits of an Evergreen education on an individual, small, and large group basis. Develop and lead a plan to move prospective families from inquiry to enrollment. Oversee and participate in the development of admission materials, events, and marketing. Coordinate systematic and efficient handling of applications and communications. Build a network of relationships with outside institutions or groups (schools, churches, civic associations) that can be helpful in attracting quality students. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT This is a year-round position with a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week.
