That's why we offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package to ensure your well-being and security.Typical Duties Include:Perform construction engineering, inspection, and coordination of activities during construction of roadways, bridges, water mains, sewers, tunnels, and related facilities.Prepare daily and weekly inspection reports as requested and submit them on a timely basis, per the project and client requirements and specifications.Technical supervision of contractors and subcontractors during project activities.Attend project/progress meetings and prepare progress reports, as needed.Assist the Area Manager, Project Managers, and Senior Engineers with technical, administrative, and coordination issues as needed.Documentation of field and laboratory data, adjusting and correlating data, and recognizing discrepancies in results.Monitor work for compliance to applicable codes and accepted engineering practices and standards, applying standard practices and techniques in specific situations.Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:8+ years of construction inspection experience in the private and public sectors.BS and/or MS in Civil Engineering or closely related field.Strong written and verbal communications skills.Experience collaborating and maintaining relationships across offices.Valid driving license and insurable driving record.Ability to do moderate lifting (40 lbs. or more) and standing/walking for sustained periods of time.Must be able to withstand all weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).Legal authorization to work in the United States.We are equal opportunity/affirmative action employers, committed to diversity in the workplace.
