Pershing X is a new start-up unit to incubate, engineer and deliver breakthrough solutions that will transform the advisory market. We are looking for UX Product Design Team Leaders to join Pershing X, a new advisory startup within BNY | Pershing.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:Provide guidance and technical expertise for complex user experience activities including user research and testing, interactive design, and visual design.Review documentation of research findings presented to product and development teams.Participate in the creation of concepts, information architecture, user interface designs, wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and specifications.Synthesize situations and information across multiple factors to build expertise while applying company policies and procedures.Give design feedback and build relationships with team members and stakeholders.Organize team processes and mentor more junior designers.Lead the implementation of visual styles that support platform branding.Interpret user feedback and insights to improve the user experience.Independently create and update user interface and visual design guidelines and standards.Advocate for user experience across the firm and facilitate training for groups outside the UX team.To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:Bachelor's degree in psychology, user experience, design, human-computer interaction or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.15+ years of experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $113,000 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment, determined on an individualized basis.
