About Disney AdSales Corporate Communications Team:

The Corporate Communications & Strategy team oversees communications strategy, operations and business development for the AdSales division. It is responsible for charting holistic, multi-platform communications tactics supported by operational research and insights and marketplace strategy capabilities. The group works hand-in-hand with sales, content and digital leaders - along with the respective communications and business teams across the entire Disney portfolio - to drive growth and lead generation across all screens.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Director, Corporate Communications with deep knowledge and expertise in AdTech and streaming TV, including experience in addressable advertising and marketing solutions. Ideal candidates will have deep experience in corporate communications and working with senior executives. This role will be responsible for positioning Disney AdSales as a leader in the marketplace and elevating its streaming, entertainment and sports branded solutions through media relations, thought leadership initiatives, award submissions, internal communications and more. Through strategic and effective storytelling and partnerships with key clients and internal stakeholders, this candidate will help drive business results - developing and leading a holistic communications strategy for Disney Ad Sales' data and insights measurement capabilities.

What You Will Do:Simplify, synthesize and communicate complex data, insights, initiatives and programs to the marketplaceFollow marketplace trends in the streaming, entertainment and sports space to develop proactive story ideas as it relates to DASLead brainstorming sessions and develop holistic communications strategiesManage multiple projects with tight deadlinesCommunicate effectively with a range of executives and cross-divisional department teamsPerform at a high level, even when faced with unexpected change; creative problem solver in dealing with ambiguity or difficult challengesWilling to take risks to ensure creative thinking and the best possible outcomesWork with data and create solutionsTravel based on business needs

Required Qualifications & Skills:11+ years' experience. Preferably in the streaming TV and digital media space with a deep understanding of entertainment and sports.Corporate communications, PR, journalism or equivalent experience, including experience leading teamsCreativity, diplomacy, and ability to juggle heavy volume of diverse projects, including both strategic and tactical assignmentsStrong verbal and writing skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively and rapidly deliver information in a complex, multi-business global companyOversee development and distribution of press materials, key messages, Q&A documentsBuild and maintain relationships with journalists, online influencers and key internal stakeholdersRespond to media inquiries and act as company spokesperson as requiredCommunicate regular media and issues updates to senior management

Education:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field

The hiring range for this position in New York is $191,400 to $256,700 per year and in Santa Monica, CA is $182,700 to $245,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.#J-18808-Ljbffr
