In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, managing, and maintaining various systems to ensure secure and efficient environments. You will work collaboratively with other team members while also demonstrating the ability to solve problems independently with minimal direction. Installation and maintenance of network equipmentTroubleshooting and resolution of network issuesDesign network architectures based on customer requirements and industry best practicesDevelopment of unique solutions that will meet customer requirements and industry best practicesCollaborate effectively with other IT disciplines (e.g., Storage, Platform, Application) to troubleshoot and resolve complex problemsDevelop and maintain configurations plans for Cisco ACI design, planning, implementation, and testing, based on a multi datacenter configurationsCreate architectural design solutions and successfully present them to client stakeholders.Work with infrastructure engineers to identify new products and solutionsDocument maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructureMaintain systems and documentation as needed for audits and complianceCommunications with customers: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying of impending changes, or coordinated outagesBe available for other engineers and coach them to resolutionRequired Knowledge/Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experienceIn-depth understanding of networking to include routing, switching, network monitoring and management.Experience working with Cisco FirepowerStrong troubleshooting skills specific to network connectivity, security, and ability to effectively work in cross functional teams as needed to resolve issues.NextGen Firewall ExperienceAbility to research and find new and innovative technologies to enhance the existing networkDefine network strategy with respect to technology domain standards and design goalsProvide technical design and architectural leadership, including documenting and diagramming the logical, physical and process viewsExperience analyzing network traffic, using a variety of network tools to assess security-related events to assist in rapid identification and isolation of issues during incidents and outagesExperience in designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting these various network technologies and protocolsClearance requirements: TS/SCI with Active Polygraph
