Google Cloud Partner Channel Sales - Communications, Media, & Technology IndustriesLocationRemote location within USA, major metro area with proximity to airportGoogle Cloud Business GroupCognizant's Google Business Group (GBG) orchestrates the native capabilities of the Google Cloud in partnership with Cognizant's deep technology and industry expertise to deliver customer digital outcomes.As part of an entrepreneurial team of this fast-growing business, we are looking for dynamic, result-oriented, and experienced sales-focused individuals to help drive growth and shape the future with Google Cloud.The RoleYou will build long-term relationships with Cognizant's customers, partner with account teams and other internal business groups, and with Google partner contacts. Your responsibilities will include cultivating executive relationships, driving adoption through effective partnership, and market penetration at existing customers while nurturing new relationships.The ideal candidate will possess both a strategic perspective to drive industry-specific discussions and engagements with CXOs and BU leaders, as well as enough technical depth to interact and understand the language of software developers and IT architects.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the industry portfolio's business development, TCV and revenue quota targets for the practice.Lead Industry advisory and sales with Google Cloud.Own lead generation & deal shaping.Engage with Cognizant Market teams, Google Cloud Field sales, and both partner organizations.Drive partner sourced opportunities.Execute against proactive GTM sales plays with Google Cloud.Minimum Qualifications5+ years of technology-related sales or business development experience.3+ years experience in selling cloud and/or technology transformation services.Ability to identify target accounts, work the channels, and gain the opportunity to identify where we can contribute, all the way through to closing the deal.Experience successfully closing deals in the $1m to $20m range.Proven track record of opening and winning business at new client's accounts and in winning new business from existing accounts.Executive-level interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills.Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels including at the CxO level.Experience in proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business.Demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual goals and building strong pipelines.Passionate about contemporary technologies and approaches that are helping companies to transform.Experience with onsite/offshore model and working in a multi-cultural environment.Results-oriented working as part of a high-performance team.Prior experience partnering with one of the hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).Willingness to travel up to 50%.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience of driving $5M+ Cloud business and large Cloud deals - $10M+.Cloud certifications (GCP, Azure, AWS) are a HUGE plus.Strong knowledge of the IT managed services space and competitive landscape.Experience selling, building, managing, and measuring a virtual/geographically dispersed sales organization.Prior experience in selling GCP, AWS, Azure or IaaS products and services to F1000 clients for a consulting organization.Master's Degree.Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $119,700.00 - $190,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards based on performance.Benefits : Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance.Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off.401(k) plan and contributions.Long-term/Short-term Disability.Paid Parental Leave.Employee Stock Purchase Plan.Work AuthorizationMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or any time in the future.Equal Employment & Affirmative Action PolicyCognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
