The ideal candidate will possess both a strategic perspective to drive industry specific discussions and engagements with CXOs and BU leaders as well as enough technical depth to be able to interact and understand the language of software developers and IT architects. This includes relationships with the customers as well as the Cognizant client partners & other leaders. Your focus will be on assisting in developing business strategies and own execution for the specified portfolio.Lead Industry advisory and sales with Google CloudOwn lead generation & deal shapingEngage with Cognizant Market teams, Google Cloud Field sales, and both partner organizations.Drive partner sourced opportunities.Execute against proactive GTM sales plays with Google CloudMinimum Qualifications10+ years of technology related sales or business development experienceVertical/Industry Domain experience in Retail and CPG3+ Years experience in selling cloud and/or technology transformation servicesAbility to identify target accounts, work the channels, and gain the opportunity to identify where we can contribute, all the way through to closing the dealExperience successfully closing deals in the $1m to $20m rangeProven track record of opening and winning business at new client’s accounts and in winning new business from existing accountsExecutive-level interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills, good listener, ability to provide a trusted voice at the decision-making table and be an advocate of Cognizant’s vision and value proposition.Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels including at the CxO levelExperience in proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer’s businessDemonstrated history of meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual goals and building strong pipelinesPassionate about contemporary technologies and approaches that are helping companies to transform; Hybrid, Private, Public Cloud adoption, DevOps adoption, modern application design using microservices, containers, datacenter automation tools, IT service management and delivery in the world of cloudExperience with onsite/offshore model and working in a multi-cultural environmentResults orientated working as part of a high-performance teamPrior experience partnering with one of the hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP)Willingness to travel up to 50%Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experiencePreferred QualificationsPrior experience of driving $5M+ Cloud business and large Cloud deals - $10M+Cloud certifications (GCP, Azure, AWS) are a HUGE plusStrong knowledge of the IT managed services space and competitive landscapeExperience selling, building, managing, and measuring a virtual/geographically dispersed sales organization.Prior experience in selling GCP, AWS, Azure or IaaS products and services to F1000 clients for a consulting organization.Master’s DegreeSalary and Other CompensationThe annual salary for this position is between $134,100.00 - $245,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.Benefits
