Senior Project Architect
to join an extraordinary project team. As the Senior Project Architect you will lead the team(s) through all aspects of design documentation, modeling, quality control, consultant coordination and technical issues.The job involves the following
responsibilities:Demonstrate and promote a culture of good business ethics along with effectively managing client relationshipsEncourage project team members to promote BeckPromote collaboration and integration throughout the design and construction processPromote community service involvement along with effectively supervising and mentoring staffLead the development of project manuals along with performing ongoing document quality control reviewsParticipate as a technical resource, and lead core skills and lessons learned initiativesResearch, understand and comply with Architecture practice statutes in the project’s jurisdictionUnderstand and apply zoning, building, life safety, accessibility and energy codesUnderstand building systems selection evaluation and detailingUnderstand construction sequencing and constructability and understand compliance with building and project budgetsUnderstand project and professional liability and actively monitor for conditions that could increase riskWork closely with the Project Design Team and Design Principal to execute the projectActively manage budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; and project team assignmentsCreate an environment of open communicationLead the project process and teamWho will be a great fitYou have the ability to foster collaboration with our design partners and our construction team and possess uncompromising authenticity, empathy and integrity.You also meet the following
requirements :12+ years of Relevant architecture experienceCollege graduate with relevant, NAAB accredited degreeProfessional registrationRecommended
training
includes:Core Skills, Revit, Sketchup, Public Speaking, LEED Green Associate CertificationPhysical Demands:Frequently required to sit, stand, and move about the office; frequently moving outdoors may be required; ability to lift and carry large plans or boxes in excess of 10 lbs; frequently operates a computer and other office equipment; ability to coordinate and participate in client meetings; constantly communicates with project team and related parties; ability to maintain standards related to architectural design and production; and ability to adhere to timely and consistent attendance.
