Committed to attracting and retaining diverse staff & instructors, UCLA Extension welcomes your experiences, perspectives, and unique identity.Position SummaryReporting to the Director of Student Resilience in the UCLA Extension Office of Disability Services (ODS), the Accessibility Manager is responsible for administrative oversight and service delivery for Extension students registered with ODS, ensuring compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act of 2008.Major responsibilities include:Leading/Conducting assessments: Final approver of Verification of Disability forms, medical documentation, and psychological/psychoeducational evaluations to verify disabilities according to University, State, and Federal guidelines, and determine appropriate accommodations and support.Student counseling: Explain to and advise students on Extension and UCLA policies and procedures related to accessibility and disability services, and make referrals to on-campus and off-campus resources.Campus & Community Partnership Development and Management: Outreach and/or coordinate with on-campus and off-campus departments and programs to develop, maintain, and expand services for students served by ODS.Workshop Development & Facilitation: Develop, plan, coordinate, execute, and lead small group workshops on equitable disability management and advocacy.Compliance Training Management: Deliver inclusive and accessible disability awareness compliance training presentations for campus faculty, staff, and students as well as manage overall compliance activities relevant to student disability services.Design, Produce, and Manage Program Materials: Design and author written program materials, oversee proctoring activities, and ensure strict exam integrity.Additional support: Assist with other ODS services and functions as directed by the Director of Student Resilience.Salary & Compensation*UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. (Required)Advanced analytical and research skills to interpret data, identify trends, and anticipate impacts of proposals on policy and practices.
