We are 100% privately owned and Physician operated, providing care in over 20 different specialties, with 90+ providers practicing today and employing 325+ Healthcare Professionals across Boulder County, CO.Summary:Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is currently recruiting for a Clinical Applications Specialist/ARCR Lead to join our IT team! This position will work full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.Full-time employees are eligible for medical/dental/vision, flexible spending, company-paid life insurance, Short Term Disability (STD), several voluntary benefit options, RTD EcoPass, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO), and six (6) paid holidays annually.Part-time employees are eligible for medical/dental/vision, company-paid life insurance, voluntary benefits, RTD EcoPass, 401(k), and holiday pay (if regularly scheduled to work on an observed holiday).Day shift schedules are Monday through Friday, with occasional voluntary four (4) hour shifts on Saturday mornings from 8 am - 12 pm for several primary clinics (Family Medicine and Pediatrics).Experience working in both primary care and specialty care clinics is preferred.Job Duties:Lead the ARCR program, guiding operational readiness from initial planning stages through post-live activities.Customize and manage operational workbooks, defining key tasks, milestones, and performance metrics essential for system success.Facilitate direction sessions and workflow adoption sessions to align EPIC system functionalities with organizational goals.Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics using EPIC’s reporting tools.Engage with staff at all levels to ensure understanding and efficient use of the EPIC system post-implementation.Identify potential risks associated with the EPIC implementation and collaborate with financial executives and project leadership to develop mitigation strategies.Coordinate comprehensive training programs for end users, ensuring readiness and competence in the new system.Design, create, and maintain EHR reports as needed using database query and reporting tools. Develop understanding of reporting functionality, providing EHR reporting solutions for business reporting.Experience and Skills
Skills and Abilities:Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with an ability to work well within ever-changing priorities and situations.Proven experience as an EPIC Analyst or similar role with a focus on healthcare systems.Certification in relevant EPIC modules such as Cadence, Resolute Hospital Billing, and others is required for this role. The analyst is expected to maintain certification in key areas.Strong understanding of healthcare operations, particularly inpatient access and revenue cycle processes.Excellent analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, complex healthcare environment.Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of clinical and administrative professionals.Education:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.Clinical and technical training experience is highly desired.Experience:1-2 years of clinical experience.Salary Range:$77,000 - $102,764 annually; depending on experience.
