A law firm seeks an experienced Healthcare Associate Attorney to join its Healthcare & Insurance Division in Washington, D.C. This position offers exposure to a broad range of legal areas within the healthcare industry, including advising providers, insurers, and companies in the life sciences sector. The firm is known for fostering young attorneys into successful partners, making this an excellent opportunity for career advancement.DutiesProvide regulatory and transactional counsel to healthcare providers, insurers, and life sciences companies.Advise on healthcare compliance, including managed care plans and health-related regulations.Conduct legal research, draft, and review legal documents, such as contracts and agreements, specific to the healthcare industry.Manage various healthcare-related legal matters, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop legal strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.Represent clients in matters involving healthcare regulations, including device and pharmaceutical manufacturers, or health information technology.Stay updated on healthcare industry regulations and trends to provide proactive legal advice.RequirementsMinimum of 3-6 years of experience in healthcare law within a law firm, healthcare organization, or health-related regulatory agency.Expertise in healthcare compliance, regulatory, and transactional law, including working with healthcare insurers and providers.Strong knowledge of managed care plans is a plus.Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic legal environment.Licensed to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction, or ability to waive into practice.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.CertificationsActive bar license in the applicable jurisdiction or ability to waive into the state of Florida.SkillsProficiency in healthcare law and regulatory compliance.Strong legal research and writing capabilities.Effective communication skills, both oral and written.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with clients.Competitive benefits package, including 401(k) with matching, health, dental, vision, and life insurance.Paid time off and flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work options.Professional growth and mentorship opportunities within a collaborative and supportive environment.This role presents a great opportunity for a driven attorney to develop expertise in healthcare law while working within a forward-thinking and dynamic legal team in Washington, D.C.Company infoBCG Attorney Search1629 K ST NW, Suite 300WashingtonDistrict of ColumbiaUnited States 20006Phone :
