office. In this role, you’ll be part of a team that provides meaningful legal support to
public entities
such as

Facilities & Business Attorney
at Lozano Smith, you will work on-site in our San Diego office, providing strategic legal guidance and handling a wide array of business-related legal issues. You will be advising
school districts
and other
public entities
on various matters, including construction projects, real estate development, and the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) .
Litigation
experience representing
public entities
is a plus, as is familiarity with
developer fees
and CFDs. Your role will involve drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, preparing pleadings, and providing high-quality counsel to ensure compliance with the law and client success.Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of legal experience, a passion for representing
public entities , and a strong interest in
school district
and
public agency
law. The ability to advise on both transactional and
litigation
matters, coupled with a commitment to staying updated on evolving legal issues, will be crucial in supporting our clients.
