This position offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with business partners, product/platform owners, and subject matter experts to solve complex business problems and deliver value using a scrum agile framework. This role will focus on leading agile projects and efforts while ensuring support of our critical business functions. The role will ensure solutions are reliable, secure, and aligned with enterprise technologies. Responsibilities include leading critical projects, resolving problems, delivering value-added enhancements, gathering, and documenting business requirements, and the coordination of users testing. A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and high work standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPossess a strong understanding of gas & liquids measurement in the Oil & Gas industry. Gains proficiency in underlying product/platform functions and leading technology capabilities.Develop business acumen to understand core business processes and desired outcomes.Participate in Problem Management activities including performing root cause analysis for critical issues impacting product/platform portfolio and coordinating corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.Lead efforts to gather requirements, business process mapping, functional specifications, and translate into functional specifications. Lead the testing process to ensure a quality product is delivered.Develops quality deliverables (e.g., requirements, build/buy diligence, fit/gap analysis, business process maps, functional specifications, solution mockups, testing strategies, test scripts, change readiness plans and support documentation).Work in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) product team and participates in Agile ceremonies to identify and prioritize value-driven workManage a product backlog of support, enhancements, and project work; confirm alignment of priorities with business partners.Manage change management activities for solutions from inception to move to production.Manage Testing requirements for solutions managed by product team to ensure quality assurance in all production code moves.Ensure the security and compliance requirements of applications and business areas. Utilize appropriate methods, controls, and documentation.Stays current on technologies and business processes. Evaluates new applications and identifies systems requirements. Identifies evolving business requirement, measures business processes and application performance, and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.Understands the data and how the business processes function within the IT applications. Develops and maintains an understanding of interfacing applications.Education and ExperienceBachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience in gas & liquids measurement10 or more years of experience in an information technology role including some experience in business systems analysis.FLOWCAL experienceExperience supporting critical applications, including COTS, custom, and SaaS preferred.Experience with Service Now, Azure DevOps and Scrum Agile framework preferred.SkillsStrong SQL and intermediate reporting skills (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, Oracle BI, Crystal Reports, etc.) required.Must be a highly skilled communicator, collaborator, and critical thinker.Strong written and verbal skills is a must.Ability to lead within a small team.Must be highly skilled in other core competencies of the position.Building Partnerships - Developing and leveraging relationships within and across work groups to achieve results.Continuous Improvement - Originating action to improve existing conditions and processes, identifying improvement opportunities, generating ideas, and implementing solutions.Drive for Results - Evaluates cross-organizational needs, impact and benefits while setting and achieving own goals.
