Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or equivalent from an accredited university.Master's degree in business management, Finance, Math, Statistics or equivalent.10+ years of experience in Finance with at least 6+ years in managing teams of individual contributors and their work products.Industry experience preferred (terminal operations, logistics or transportation).Thorough GAAP and IFRS knowledge.Strong skillset with MS Office, PowerBI, data management and large financial ERPs.Demonstrate advance project management and organizational skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the experience to effectively communicate. key data in a user-friendly and concise manner to individuals with varying levels of financial acumen.Ability to effectively collaborate with other departments and resources in large, complex business environments.An exceptional communicator who can write, present, and effectively adjust messages to meet individual audiences and organizations.A strong focus on execution and accountability in a fast-paced environment.

The

Director-Financial Planning & Analysis (FP & A)

serves as the leader sitting between the business and the corporate FP&A office. The role ensures that global business processes and practices are followed in providing accurate financial reporting and analysis in support of Carrix's business decisions. Additional responsibilities include directing and managing workflow through local and remote analysts.Direct financial planning and strategy development along with the business.Partner with business leaders and deliver key insight through actionable analysis to evaluate business performance and enable strategic decision making.Inform and influence strategy through financial analysis and business acumen.Create meaningful financial metrics to gauge the financial effectiveness of decisions and actionsPrepare financial analysis and modeling for contract negotiations and new business opportunities, including industry consolidation and joint venture opportunities.Evaluate capital investment decisions, and assess return on investment, pricing models and contractual language.Prepare budgets and forecasts based on financial records, historical and projected trends and what-if sensitivity scenarios.Monitor and report on budget variance and company performance against operational and financial KPI'sBuild strong relationships and act as a conduit between the division operations and the company's treasury, accounting, financial planning & analysis and other administrative support groups including active communication with the groups and helping to solve issues and streamline processes.In coordination with the treasury group, maintain banking relationships including new and existing debt facilities, arrange and renew L/Cs for select port and other third-party obligations and oversee the quarterly and annual reporting and covenant compliance requirements.Communicate with and maintain relationships with external partners, including joint venture partners, on various financial related matters including budgets, forecasts, variance analysis to actual results along with other requests as they arise.Prepare and present financial data to senior management, board members and other external partners and key stakeholders, including preparation of content and materials for meetings.Hire, train, develop and manage staff.Other duties as assigned.Benefits Eligible employees (and their families) may qualify for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as having basic life and accidental death insurance, short term disability insurance, and long-term disability insurance.
