About the Role:
Fragomen, an AmLaw 100 firm and the leading immigration services provider, is seeking a Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture to join our digital and technology organization. Fragomen relies on a dynamic technology ecosystem to both maintain and grow in spaces such as immigration services, Legaltech, and HR tech. Our Enterprise Architecture team plays a key role in this environment, where e.g. we operate on multiple clouds, support interconnected businesses and product entities, and work with various outside parties. In order to thrive in the role of Senior Director - Enterprise Architecture, one should have not only technical experience with Enterprise Architecture but also strong experience aligning multiple priorities and successfully leading and collaborating with others.
How will you make a difference as a Senior Director - Enterprise Architecture at Fragomen?Architects the enterprise platformBuild specifications for supporting the integration of technology components, services and APIs used by various applications within the ecosystemLead the technical vision and define the building blocks to maintain a technology roadmapCreate centralized datastore (single source of truth), reusable components and a reporting system that solves business problemsAssist in choosing the right products for solving business problemsEvaluate the technology stack to build and/or optimize an enterprise Immigration Case Management SolutionUnderstand and articulate how all parts of the business model work together including processes, operating systems, application architectures and infrastructure to create an overall solutions designReview requirements and assess technology feasibility, risk, impact, level of support etc.Analyze all non-functional requirements i.e. performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability of productsWork closely with Security leads to ensure compliance with security requirementsManage data migration, application integration, and release management strategyCollaborate with development teams to agree on the development process standards and deployment processWork closely with Program Directors, Product Owners, workstream leads, and technical leads to identify dependencies and bridges gaps between business problems and technology solutionsLeverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen:
Approximately 10 years of experience in the IT field with strong solutions architecture focusBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or IT-related field; MBA preferredStrong project management skills and management of development, maintenance, and support teamsAn ability to constantly educate oneself and a passion for staying up to date with the latest technological advancesDiplomacy skills to negotiate what you feel is best for the firm's IT systemsAn ability to liaise well with others and source information efficientlyCommunication skills with people of all levels throughout the organizationAbility to research and predict the ways that different technologies can impact an organization's developmentProven experience in budgeting and P&L managementThe ability to mentor others at various levels of the organizationAn ability to respond well to constructive feedback.Benefits:
