About the Role:
Fragomen, an AMLaw 100 Firm and the leading global immigration services provider, is seeking an Enterprise Data Governance Lead to join our Data Management Team. This critical role will lead and champion data initiatives to serve our clients with the highest possible data standards.
How will you make a difference as an Enterprise Data Governance Lead at Fragomen?Implement & develop the data governance framework including leading the creation of core principles and embedding the framework across the organization.Support the enforcement of data policies & procedures to ensure awareness and compliance within the whole organization.Assign and manage a large group of data owners as well as their respective stewards to ensure consistency of standards are being followed through.Collaborate with the wider data management team to ensure there is proper documentation of business terms, standards and the enterprise data model.Define data governance metrics and ensure there is regular reporting to the leadership team.Grow a team of data governance professionals who support in enhancing the firm's data maturity objectives.Chair and partake is a number of data governance committees to foster a cross-functional approach to data governance, encouraging collaboration between case, IT & data teams.Promote ongoing enhancement of governance practices, align with industry best practices, and regularly review and update the framework and policies.Leverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen:
Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, computer science, project management, or a related field.Relevant technical and data governance certificates (e.g CDPM).7+ years of direct work experience in large scale/enterprise data projects with at least 3 years leading the creation of formal data governance and/or data management programs.Strong experience in metadata management, knowledge of data standards, data cataloguing, tagging, lineage and delivering data products within a data governance framework.Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Demonstrated learning ability and the ability to make decisions quickly and with highest level of integrity.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build & lead a team who balance multiple & complex requirements.Benefits:
