Summary:
Preparation of monthly and yearly journal entries, account reconciliations and work papers in connection with Financial Reporting. In addition, Assist and Support Manager in preparation and coordination of audit workpapers and craft responses on an as needed basis.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Prepares, complies, and processes journal entries and other financial transactions and performs account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of account balances and the proper accounting treatment of transactions.Maintains multiple financial system records by entering, reconciling, and monitoring various input data to ensure that all financial information is properly recorded.Prepares worksheets, financial statements, and reports to provide management with information for decision making, and to ensure that all reporting requirements are satisfied.Performs analyses of selected general ledger accounts; identifies and resolves reconciling items and accounting issues on a timely basis.Performs various accounting duties, Variance analysis, and preparation of federal and state external reports, agency obligations, and Bank reconciliations.Performance of specific tasks or special projects.Assists Auditors with year-end Audit research.Reviews expenditures either by request of management or predetermined guidelines established by management, to ensure that all expenses are properly recorded.Supervision Given to

Minimum :
Bachelor's degree in accounting, (3) years of applied accounting experience.Knowledge and Skills:
Essential :
