Summary:Sr Systems Analyst to develop, support and maintain various Customer Service applications, hardware and software. Provide related information to Capital projects
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develops system requirements, specifies design considerations hardware and softwareWorks directly with vendors on installation and maintenance projectsTroubleshoot complex on-line applications systems, Departure Vision Rail/Bus/ETV/Sign/PA/TTS issues and assist users with system problems including 24 x 7 maintenanceCoordinate new field system installations with IS/Rail Comm and other partiesParticipate in the development and testing of Pass comm applicationsProvide user training on Pass Comm systemsWork with Junior staff, interns and monitor their day to day activities, assign tasksRemotely troubleshoots issues 24/7 to determine what group needs to be notified through the helpdesk.This Position Supervises:
Summer internEducation, Experience and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Technology/Engineering, or related area and three (3) or more years of project experience of technical business experience developing complex on-line applications software and maintaining Passenger Communication Systems.Knowledge and Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, IT technical knowledge of Windows and Linux, programming languages C#, Java, Python, ASP.NET, MVC and Microsoft SQL server databasesFamiliarity with AWS. Familiarity with custom PassComm applications: E-starter, Bus Console, Multistation, Departure Vision, Text-to-Speech, Alexa, PA programming of Audio Barix devices; network topologyOffice Environment
