This is an in-office position located in GHP's downtown Nashville location.
This is not an IT role; this position will work in our Architecture team.
Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture 5-8 years of progressive Architecture experience Register Architect - (Licensed) NCARB certified Must have a Valid Driver's license Must be a U.S. Citizen, GHP is unable to sponsor foreign candidates. Background in Construction Administration preferred General Contracting knowledge a plus, but not required. Revit & Bluebeam knowledge/experience a plus Experience in Cost Estimating Comprehensive knowledge of Code review Experience in the following fields (preferred): Municipal, Multi-family, Healthcare, Hospitality, Retail, Education, Labs, Renovation/New construction Job Essentials, Responsibilities, Duties
Conducts investigations and assessments of property conditions and provides solutions. Arrange and lead meetings on design and construction progress of project. Oversee the design phases and construction administration process and procedures to ensure accuracy. Cultivates and collaborates with clientele. Responsible for QA/QC of all construction/contract documents, drawings, & specifications. Prepare proposals and internal budgets. Participates in monthly invoice meetings. Conducts investigations and assessments of property conditions and provides solutions. Research products and prepare specifications. Review RFI's and submittals during project construction. Coordinate with appropriate authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) for project approval. Coordinate with consultants throughout the project. Skills, Abilities, and Personality Traits

Strong Technical Architectural expertise (i.e., detailing, property condition assessments, visual problem solving) Strong knowledge of building envelope fundamentals - the role of water-resistant barriers, flashing, climate specificities, etc. Independent Self-starter. Enjoys being client centric and building relationships. Someone that is quality focused. Someone that has great recall, remembers discussions, and takes effective notes. A person that can be a team lead and mentor to junior level staff. Knowledge of building details and building codes. Can produce building details. Strong communication & organizational skills. Someone who can work on a variety of projects and multi-task. Possess the ability to assess drawings, conduct investigations, assess property conditions, to find issues and report it with solutions. Revit experience a plus. Bluebeam experience a plus. Position Summary
The Technical Architect/ Project Manager will work inside a team overseeing a variety of architecture and construction projects specifically around detailing, code compliance, quality control and problem solving. The Project Manager will work closely with GHP clientele to collaborate and build relationships, as well as lead and mentor junior staff.
