Job DescriptionJob Title: Respiratory Therapist

Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend rotation
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent staff experience in a large Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) department or facility
License: Valid Provisional / Respiratory Care Practitioner License or a temporary letter to practice issued by the Medical Board
Certifications: Certified / Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) credential through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC), PALS (AHA), and BLS (AHA)
Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
Job Description:- Provide respiratory care for pediatric patients in a facility with a 20-bed PICU and 65-bed NICU.- Potential to float between adult and pediatric populations and potentially other units as needed, with the primary focus on PICU/Pediatrics.- Patient care may include treating COVID-19 patients.- EPIC experience is highly preferred.- No on-call requirement.- For safety-sensitive positions, must comply with regulations concerning marijuana use.- Ensure adherence to facility protocols and patient care standards.- The candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility in order to be considered.
