Currently, Ashford serves as the advisor to two NYSE listed real estate investment trusts, namely Ashford Hospitality Trust (NYSE MKT: AHT) and Braemar Hotels and Resorts (NYSE MKT: BHR). It also services as the external advisor to Texas Strategic Growth Fund and Stirling Hotels & Resorts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs complex administrative duties, with exposure to highly confidential matters and informationHeavy executive calendar management, coordination of business meetings, reporting, scheduling and daily timekeepingMakes travel arrangements including booking flights, hotels and car reservationsCreates and modifies Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentationsFiling and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reportsDrafting and editing outgoing emails and memosPerforming office duties that include ordering supplies and managing recordsOther administrative duties and projects as assignedTracks expenses and prepares expense reportsMay be required to assist with personal tasks as wellWill be required to travel at least a few times in a given year5+ years of administrative experience, to include experience supporting C-Suite Executives.Ability to work independently, prioritize, multi-task and ask for clarification when neededMust be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to organize a daily workload based on prioritiesStrong work ethicMust possess an extremely positive attitudeExemplifies three main qualities - capable, fantastic attitude, and trustworthinessProfessional oral and written communication skillsExperience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive informationProficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPointExcellent organizational and time management skills, ability to take initiative and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyAccuracy, attention to detail and the ability to proof own workMust be able to travel to various events and meetings as needed
