Desktop Support Technician
to help us deliver exceptional support to our employees and maintain the efficiency of our technological resources.
Job Overview:
The Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for technology.
Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support to internal teams and assist with IT-related issues. Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and resolve them in a timely manner. Perform system backups and security updates as needed. Assist with onboarding new employees through IT setup. Document support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system. Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance overall performance and user experience. Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with hardware setup and configurations, as well as peripheral devices. Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware and software problems. Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are a plus. Benefits
