Our dispatchers are critical to the operations of our business. They are the lifeline between the client and our bus operators. Your ability to assess and respond with an immediate solution helps to maintain on time service and delivery.
Profile
Must Have dispatcher experience to apply.Requirements for a Dispatcher
Minimum of two (2) years of general work experience, including driving experience and customer service experience.Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.Must have been a licensed driver for at least two (2) years.Ability to work under time constraints and deadlinesProblem-solving and analytical abilitiesGood computer skillsA Valid Drivers LicenseNo criminal convictions or DWI, DUI, assault, or possessionResponsibilities of a Dispatcher
Collaborates with routing specialists and schedulers to optimize routesDispatch drivers using information provided by the clients through the reservation department and the online reservation applicationReview and respond to all incoming calls, confirming all details with the client review reservation two weeks outDiscuss with the client availability to review online reservationsField incoming calls for the exact day requests, ensure availability, and examine possible route changesInitiate all outbound calls to the city connect and accessTroubleshoot and resolve potential pick-up problems before they result in service issuesEnsure service on missed pick-ups by coordinating driver movement in the fieldAssist in determining the daily level of driver staffing to provide the best mix of responsiveness and productivityOther duties assigned by the operation staffEducation Requirement
