Job Summary:
The Market Manager will oversee all activities within his market and office. This position is responsible for ensuring the projects, employees, and financials are all running smoothly and according to the company guidelines. This person has strong client relationships, developed the natural intuition to understand how to navigate the trends within the industry, professionally handle employee related items, manages the Project Management team, and understands the financials relating to the market as a whole.
Job Responsibilities:
Retains general knowledge of People Services acceptable behavior, processes, and procedures.Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and instilling the True North culture in all new hires.Provides necessary data to upper management in a timely and organized manner.Receptive to changes as new processes are rolled out, software integrations occur, and growth demands.Effectively runs all employees in their market to ensure the highest efficiency and profitability is being achieved.Developed strong client relationships.Seasoned knowledge of the Telecommunication industry trends and how to successfully navigate them.Mentors the Senior Project Managers to become stronger and more effective managers with higher production and profit margins.Manages the Field Construction Specialist and Construction Manager on multiple projects simultaneously to ensure all projects are running smoothly, efficiently, timely, and documenting change orders along the way.Responsible for providing clean, high quality, completed project sites to clientRemain in constant contact with the client regarding project production, obstacles, change orders, and potential issues that may arise.Understands how to properly bid a project to meet profitability standards as well as reading the market to push the profitability when possible.Effectively communicates with the supporting teams to provide positive results.Responsible for ensuring the project financials are accurate and reflect maximum profitability.Successfully train and mentor Field Construction Specialist and Construction Manager to provide the highest quality work in an efficient manner while upholding safety at the highest level.Has the ability to remotely troubleshoot issues in the field.Possess acceptable time management, people management, and leadership skills.Continually shows company support by following and enforcing all company policies and procedures.Strives to provide quality workmanship.Proven to be reliable and punctual.Shows positive attitude, works well with his crew, upholds the highest safety measures, and promotes the True North culture.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:Previous experience in the telecom, utility, construction, and/or engineering industry
