Our more than 3000 employees in over 15 countries work hard every day knowing that what they do matters.Responsibilities:Apply Good Manufacturing Practices in all areas of responsibility and demonstrates the company mission and values by following all Standard Operating ProceduresPick, pack and ship distribution orders that require an advanced skill levelScreen shipments for unauthorized devices in accordance with TSA requirementsExecute distribution & warehouse system transactionsProcess all orders according to priority set by Distribution Leader/Supervisor in order to meet receipt date.Verify proper storage conditions and temperature monitoring of shipmentsLoad couriers’ trucks using pallet jacksFind opportunities to improve overall quality and efficiencyEngage in daily management and 5S every dayEnsure that inventory is properly and safely storedMaintain warehouse for safety, security, neatness and organizationMinimum Qualifications:High School Degree or GEDReliable transportation and a valid driver’s licenseAble to pass a TSA background checkAble to work overtime when neededKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Desire to work as part of a team within Distribution and across QA, Client Services and Supply Chain departmentsBasic computer competency using Microsoft Office applications and significant data entryMaintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detailFork lift experience preferredPrior Distribution/Warehouse experience preferredKnowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices preferredPrior pharmaceutical or clinical logistics experience preferredAt Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 50,000 outstanding minds has a unique story to tell.
