The Firmwide Forecast & Analysis team plays a crucial role in providing data and reports that offer insights into JPMorgan Chase's firm-wide financial performance and projections for P&A, the CFO, the Board, and regulators.
As a Data Domain Architect Lead, Vice President, you will be engaged in a variety of activities, including data collection, enrichment, control, financial calculations, and reporting. Additionally, the team identifies, manages, builds, tests, and implements enhancements to data, systems, and forecast consolidation processes.
Job responsibilities
Utilize various technologies and data analytics skills to optimize financial data collection and aggregation processes.Develop and execute financial calculations, including consolidated P&L, balance sheet, and capital forecasts for the Firm and its major Legal Entities, as well as key business metrics and drivers.Support controls related to the data and systems that inform the Firm's financial performance and projections (budget, outlook, etc.).Collaborate with technology teams to modernize infrastructure and deliver flexible, self-service tools to end-users.Analyze, evaluate, and challenge current and future business processes and application architecture to identify opportunities for improvement and automation in forecast consolidation processes.Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a technical field.Over 7 years of experience, preferably in technology, product ownership, and/or finance.Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience driving cross-functional and global teams to deliver large financial data initiatives.Proficiency in data gathering, modeling, manipulation, analytics, and problem-solving, with the ability to present conclusions concisely.Familiarity with financial concepts and calculations used to deliver accurate financial results and business insights.Great verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex issues clearly.Highly motivated with a proven track record of executing programs under pressure, often with short lead times or limited information/direction.Inquisitive, enthusiastic, and diligent team player, able to challenge while maintaining respect as a trusted partner for P&A and Technology teams.Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Experience with data analytics and modeling using Python, SQL, and/or R.Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Cognos, and Alteryx.Understanding of Agile principles and tools like Confluence/JIRA.Experience with forecast aggregation tools such as Anaplan and Essba
