A nationally recognized Non-Profit in the media space is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to join their team. For over 50 years this organization has been a trusted provider of educational news and content. Their digital properties are reaching over 5 million views daily. You will provide Incident Response, threat hunting and proactive support of all development activities in both the cloud and on-prem environments. Position is full time and requires 2 days onsite in Alexandria.
Required Skills & Experience5+ years of Cybersecurity experienceExperience with Splunk and Microsoft DefenderStrong understanding of following technologies and concepts: DFIR, IAM, PAM, DLP, NGFW, EDR, IDS/IPS.Experience with Python or PowershellExperience with Ticketing Systems (FreshService preferred)

Experience in media or education technology is a plusAbility to participate as a technical lead on projects requiring cybersecurity expertise and consultation.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaborativelyRelevant certifications
