WDMCS is seeking school bus drivers to join our team for the 2023-24 school year.
These full-time positions work a minimum of 6 hours per day during the school year (6am-9am, 2pm-5pm). There are many opportunities for additional hours!
Increased wages available if you have prior years of experience driving K-12 school buses.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide transportation in accordance with District policy and procedure as well as local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Follow designated routes accurately, in accordance with time schedules and stops.
Conduct safe and orderly loading and unloading of students.
Maintain order and discipline on the school bus at all times.
Perform routine operator maintenance to including but not limited to: pre/post inspections, sweeping interior, wiping upholstery, cleaning windshields, reporting equipment defects and presenting bus for maintenance.
Participate in all training pertaining to the job.
Report all accidents immediately to the Transportation Supervisor or designee.
Complete and submit daily mileage, student conduct/incident or other reports and documentation as required.
Keep and handle all student information in a confidential manner.
Maintain route books, keep organized with current information.
Operate a school bus or other district vehicles safely at all times.
Participate in all required drug and alcohol testing.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Operate vehicles during inclement weather.
Complete all safety training as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Selection Procedure:
