Join the team that is a leader in engineering, designing and manufacturing of leading-edge military expeditionary products and rugged industrial/commercial products since 1937.What We Offer:Health benefits, including telehealth medical services, Dental & VisionLife, AD&D & Disability (paid for by the company)401K with a company matchThe primary function of this position is responsibility for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to work orders, customer specifications, or other forms of instruction.Essential Duties:Knows, qualifies and performs the following: MIG: carbon steels, stainless steel, and aluminum and combination; TIG:carbon steels, stainless steel, aluminum, and combination; Submerge ARC: carbon steels, stainless steel, and combination; Flux Core: carbon steels, stainless steel, and combinationUnderstands requirements, possess appropriate skills, and perform various welding processes in all positions on products of all applicable metals Welds with a high degree of proficiency, experience and knowledge, able to meet various codes and specifications including AWS and ASME Performs material preparation, open set-up and fit to meet process requirements proficiently in all required operationsReads blueprints, weld symbols and NDE symbols and interpret acceptance criteriaCoordinates effective communication regarding production processes with other departments such as Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and SalesAccurately perform visual inspection of weldments to confirm compliance to various codes and standardsPerforms daily and weekly maintenance on all equipmentShares technical requirements, techniques, safety information, etc. with peersSupports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organizationAdheres to all quality and safety standardsSupports other projects and performs duties as assigned Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:High School diploma or GED preferred.
