Murdoch is currently recruiting for a Nurse Supervisor I located in the Infirmary. The Infirmary is an ICF-IID certified 19-bed unit which provides 24-hour nursing care to people requiring hospitalization to treat acute illnesses, as well as comprehensive permanent residential care for people who require intensive 24-hour nursing care. The Infirmary provides emergency response and professional nursing coverage in residential areas after the nurses in those areas have left duty (after usual business hours, weekends, and holidays). It also provides assessment and treatment of employee injuries for the entire campus after hours, on weekends and holidays, and ensures executive staff are notified of events in accordance with facility policy.The primary purpose of this position is to provide clinical supervision on 3rd shift in the Infirmary. This Nurse Supervisor supervises full-time licensed nurses and occasionally temporary, part time, and agency licensed nurses who are required for nursing coverage of direct medical/nursing services, provides professional guidance related to health care services, is accountable for assessing nursing needs, monitoring the coordination and provision of health care, monitoring for quality assurance, planning for utilization of resources, ensuring training, and collaborates with the NS II to meet Infirmary goals and objectivesScheduled work hours/shift:

3nd shift, 10:45pm-6:45am , 5 days/week with rotating weekends. Flexibility is required for schedule adjustment as needed/required.

**Eligibility for Sign-on Bonus**Qualified applicants must be selected from the candidate pool of this posting and meet the State policy following requirements:

A newly hired permanent full time or permanent part-time employee who works 30 to 40 hours per week is eligible for a sign-on bonus (this will be prorated for employees working less than 40 hours per week).
