The Rehabilitation Services Manager will have an understanding of the field of rehabilitation counseling and thorough knowledge of agency policies and procedures pertaining to casework. Job responsibilities including the following: Professional supervisory and managerial work in organizing and directing delivery of Vocational Rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities.Directs the daily activities of the EIPD staff to ensure the most effective and efficient service delivery.Serves as area manager of the Division's service delivery program serving Watauga and surrounding counties.Provides leadership to meet agency mission and goals within the context of its stated values.Provides administrative and case management supervision including training and technical assistance, personnel administration, and evaluation planning.Designs and implements action plans to develop personnel and programs.Works cooperatively with third-party school programs, multiple community rehabilitation programs, community partners and agencies, and businesses.Ensures that all aspects of the Unit's work is in compliance with federal regulations, state laws, and DHHS and NC EIPD policies.The DHHS Division of Employment and Independence for People with Disabilities (EIPD) promotes employment and independence for persons with disabilities through customer partnership and community leadership.About the NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS):The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is one of the largest, most complex agencies in the state, and has approximately 17,000 employees.
