LOCAL Bill Rate - $82 regardless of contract duration(local is within 50 miles of home address to contracted facility)
**For 48-hour contract, OT is paid out after 48 hours**

Their application MUST show some 1:5 ratio experience in the Work History section for SD or PCU, otherwise, the managers will not review it. Be sure this is added to the application prior to submitting in order to avoid delay.
Also note, ICU exp does not count towards SD/PCU exp at this facility, therefore, you MUST have SD/PCU experience to be considered.
**Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, can go up to 1:5-:6**
*Unit participates/may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients. The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients, ultimately improving both the workload and patient care. Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit.
• 13 weeks• Must Float to all Stepdown/Advanced Care units*
Must have EPIC experience
Must have the following requirements:• Vent Experience• Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment• BLS & ACLS - must be able to read and interpret strips and have or be willing to obtain NIH• Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.• Some level 1 or 2 exp required• Travel experience preferred
Floating and Other Requirements:• Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion. Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters. It will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including high-risk respiratory unit/COVID.• If assigned to MVH, this could include floating main campus (Dayton) south campus (Centerville) less than 10 miles from Main Campus and North Campus (Englewood) less than 15 miles from Main Campus.• Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday.• Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract.• Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine.• Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives.
Unit Details:Working with tele/drips/ventsStep-down/advanced care unit that focuses on trauma patients with multi-system injuries. We see a combination of neuro ortho and surgical (mainly abdominal surgeries) patients as our highest populations. Drips that we see frequently are heparin Cardizem insulin and ketamine. We do have the capability to do DKA and amiodarone as well as a few others less common. PCAs and epidurals are commonly seen on our unit as well. Our staff are trained to perform moderate sedation for procedures like chest tube insertion and wound debridement as well.• Navy Blue Scrubs
RTORequest RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer. RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion. Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report, and other certs are not needed if listed on the application.
