Job Summary
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will join a team of Health & Welfare professionals focused on crafting precise business requirements to serve as a directed record keeper for plan sponsors. Working in an Agile environment, you will be the requirements expert, ensuring that systems function according to detailed specifications. This role involves collaborating with teams to deliver on Agile goals and building a positive culture that aligns with leadership principles.
Key Responsibilities
•Partner with the Scrum Leader/Squad Leader to align on sprint goals and project work
•Define and analyze complex client requirement changes for Annual Enrollment and Ongoing Projects
•Conduct data analysis and reporting to support effective client decision-making
•Identify potential issues with business requirements and recommend modifications to functional solutions
•Assist in defining test scenarios for Systems Acceptance Testing and support Business Acceptance Testing activities
•Perform root cause analysis for issues arising before and after code migrations
•Mentor and coach new associates, supporting their growth within the Agile team
•Commit to Agile principles, fostering a collaborative and innovative squad environment
Required Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree (BS or BA)
•5-7 years of Business Analysis experience, particularly with Health & Welfare benefits
•5+ years of experience with Health & Welfare Annual Enrollment and benefits outsourcing
•Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex business requirements
•Proficient in core product mechanics, record-keeping systems, and regulatory environment
•Advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access
Preferred Qualifications
•Understanding of end-to-end business process life cycle, data flows, and plan level provisions
•Experience in Agile work environments, demonstrating critical thinking and initiative
